Terms of Service

Welcome to Chip Joker (筹码对决). By downloading, accessing or playing the game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not play the game.

1. The service

Chip Joker is a free-to-play poker-hand roguelike with competitive same-seed duels, provided for mobile devices. We may update, modify or discontinue parts of the service; material changes will be announced in-game or on chipjoker.com.

2. License

We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-commercial license to play the game. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer (except where such restriction is not allowed by law), or extract assets from the game, and you may not use unauthorized third-party software to interact with it.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for your account and its security. One person, one fair account: creating or using multiple accounts to manipulate matchmaking, rankings, tournaments or referral rewards is prohibited.

4. Fair play & anti-cheat

Chip Joker is competitive; its rankings are only meaningful if everyone plays by the same rules. You must not: modify the game client, automate gameplay, manipulate match results, fabricate action logs, exploit bugs (please report them instead), or interfere with other players' matches outside the game's designed interference mechanics.

Enforcement is evidence-based: matches are validated by server-side replay. Confirmed violations may result in, in rising order: voiding of affected matches, temporary ladder suspension, season bans, and device bans for serious cheating.

5. Virtual items — no gambling

All chips, money and cards inside a run are fictional game resources with no real-world value. They cannot be sold, traded for value, or cashed out. Chip Joker does not offer real-money wagering, lotteries or prizes of monetary value. Poker hands are used as a scoring system only.

6. Purchases

Purchases are processed by the respective store (Google Play Billing or TapTap Pay) under their terms. In-game purchases are cosmetic or convenience items only and never grant in-match power. Refunds are handled by the store's refund policy; we may revoke refunded virtual items.

7. Advertising

The game may show optional ads. Ad revenue never converts into in-match power for any player — this is a design guarantee. Ads are delivered by third-party providers (see the Privacy Policy) and personalized ads depend on your OS-level choices.

8. Player conduct

Be decent: no harassment, hate speech, sexual content, or illegal content in nicknames, profile fields or reports. Report suspected cheaters in-game rather than taking matters into your own hands.

9. Disclaimers & liability

The game is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA/UK or China, you keep all mandatory statutory rights.

10. Termination

You may stop playing and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, as described in §4.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence still apply where they cannot be excluded.
